I think it is fair trade for both team...
We need a PF and Orl gets SF which is better because Howard plays PF..

I wouldn't mind that trade. It's basically Gooden for Butler. Sure, one good rookie for another, nothing wrong with that. The magic don't lose anything, but they also don't gain anything. Samaki may be good enough to start over Hunter.. actually, he WOULD start over hunter.

I dont like the trade at this point. Walker is a complete stiff. Probably just as good as anyone they've got, but why bring on another stiff.

I think Butler can be great, but that remains to be seen.

If Orlando was looking to get rid of a PF, it should be Howard and not Gooden. Gooden's got too much talent to give up on him at this point.

I wouldnt do the trade. Also, Shammond is the best option as backup PG, without him, Orlando would have to rely on Rod Strickland. And Strickland is still very, very rusty.

I like it, Giricek would come off the bench, to provide an extra scoring option. Samkai is another big body down low, and we give up Gooden, who isnt starting as of now.

Gooden's finally starting to play well, now that Paul Westhead has put in the new offense, and Gooden is at least getting consistent minutes off the bench. Caron was the only scoring option on the Heat last year and managed a mere 15 ppg. I'm not so sure I'd want him...
