Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

Old news but Holland won the D-League's Impact POY award for being the best mid-season pick-up. I'm a bit salty because it feels like a backhanded compliment since he didn't get called up but he really had a good year.

Justin also worked out with the Celtics today, hopefully that will give him some good exposure for an international career.

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

Justin Alston got his first NBA workout with the Celtics. Boston may be a pro sports city but proximity to an NBA team has its benefits. Walter Whyte retweeted this and the Holland tweet. Hopefully he is in a similar position four years from now.

Looks like Malik Thomas had a very successful season playing for Scarborough in the CBL. First Team All CBL player averaging 20.2 ppg on 52.7% shooting.

Good for Thomas he always had the potential but there was something awkward about his game at BU. He has the right long, versatile body type that the pro leagues love where he could guard multiple positions.

Fanning to participate in a pro exposure event in Las Vegas. Other familiar names that will be there include LU's Jarred Jones, HC's Matt Husek, and Harvard's Siyani Chambers.

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

The TBT has started, at least the play-in games, and a blast from BU's past appears to be the only Terrier in the Tournament.

Rashad Bell ('05) is playing with the team Champions along with 5'5" Earl Boykins and 7'6" Mamadou N'Diaye.

Shad still got it. Check the spin and dunk at the :30 mark.
