I watched that Georgetown game - Mo was quite good and he was the reason for the win

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

The NBDL is not only a developmental league for players; the information people are also learning the ropes.

Holland has put up decent numbers so far. He has been an efficient scorer, making jumpers, and getting the hustle stats. The thing is, judging by his mannerisms, I don't think he feels he is playing that well right now, so the best may still to come.

Last year 47 players were called up to the NBA. This year there have only been 7. If Holland can step up his play a little, he might get the attention of some teams.

Yes - it happens more toward the second half of the season when injuries begin to mount, contenders start cutting players to trade for better ones, and the also-rans are just trying to find healthy bodies. You never know

Holland continues to play well in the D-League. His team, the Canton Charge, have a record of 14-13, however are 10-4 since the arrival of JH.

Mo Watson with a 32 points, 5 assist, 7 rebound effort in a win vs #5 Xavier

That's got to put them squarely on the bubble

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

Creighton is 17-10 with 4 games left...RPI somewhere around 80 last time I checked.

I think they probably need 22 wins, meaning they will have to finish very strong - either win out and win one in the BE tourney or go 3-1 and win 2 in the BE tourney.

They are getting punished for losing against a bad OOC schedule. Love it.

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

The loss the other day to Butler was bad for them. They still have a chance but they're on the outside looking in for sure. They may need to beat Xavier again.

But Mo has been outstanding for them.

Don't get too excited if they miss out, SCS - they look like a better bet to make it next year if they don't this year.

If we get in twice to top them, that's fine with me.

Creighton is basically off the bubble at this point, gonna be an NIT season for them.

Re: Boston University Alumni Updates

Here's a highlight tape of Holland from the month of February (during which his team went undefeated):

They've only lost like 3 or 4 times since he joined the team
