Delante Jones apparently was somewhat discontent with Brennan/Princeton Offense and will probably be transferring up to an A10 level school. The other three players had small roles and limited minutes and were passed on the depth chart by underclassmen. Paquin is one of those but he will have graduated after this semester and is transferring to McGill for his Master's and playing time.

Soph PF Lonnie Rivera started about 10 PL games for AU. He saw his minutes decline significantly at the end of the year, but it was due to junior transfer Matt Cimino getting more minutes along with Brennan often using only one big man and instead using senior guard Jalen Rhea and/or soph guard James Washington instead of Rivera. At those times - at least half the game - they went with two small guards, two wings, and one big man.

Not sure about Cheddi and Destin, but Blaise should be done due to graduation, if he is graduating.

Speaking of Blaise, he was the subject of a student film. I guess it was filmed in the fall semester because there is no mention of the internal matter. Around 2:55 of the video is rather prophetic.

Another player out for Lehigh in Matt Holba. They now have 4 (!) scholarship spots open for next year. That team definitely seemed to hate each other.

Holba was a preseason ROY-caliber player two years ago but he missed his first year due to injury. With Kempton graduating (in addition to the other transfers) Holba would have been in line for a significant role next year. I'm not sure what is going on.

Surprised to see the jump but Pitt has been decimated ever since making an awful hire in Kevin Stallings. Pitt is bringing in a class of 5 and 2 transfers but still has 3 slots open even with this latest commitment. They should be fairly atrocious next season.

Re: Patriot League Transfers Outbound/Inbound

I didn't feel like creating another thread, so I am posting this here.

I haven't followed our past recruits that closely but since a few popped up through the course of my college basketball watching I looked at how they have been doing. Some have been very productive players.

1) Jimmy Hall (2012) - http://nypost.com/2011/08/01/hoop-gr...r-new-heights/
- Committed to Hofstra; transferred from Hofstra after arrest for stealing iPads
- Transferred to Kent State
- Averaged 19 ppg and 11 rbs this year
- Invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament with other top seniors

2) Isaiah Still (2014) - http://highschoolsports.nj.com/news/...robert-morris/
- Committed to Robert Morris
- Averaged 16 ppg last year
- Transferring to Iona

3) Christen Cunningham (2014) - http://usatodayhss.com/2014/christen...d-next-week-3/
- Committed to Samford
- Averaged 11 ppg and 6 asts last year
- Probably would have committed to BU but Eric Johnson committed first

4) Damontrae Jefferson (2015) - https://future150.com/hs/basketball-...-in-2015-12981
- Committed to Texas Southern; sat out or redshirted his freshman year
- Averaged 15 ppg last year

5) Jonathan Laurent (2015) - https://www.sny.tv/college-recruitin...rent/148706104
- Committed to Rutgers
- Averaged 3 ppg last year but 8 ppg and 5 rbs freshman year
- Transferring to UMass

6) Joseph Chartouny (2015) - http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/joseph-chartouny
- Committed to Fordham
- Averaged 12 ppg, 4 rbs, 5 asts last year
- Entered NBA Draft but will return to Fordham

7) Dalton Soffer (2015) http://www.southorangejuice.com/2014...ith-2015-guard
- Committed to Loyola, decommitted, and then committed to Seton Hall
- Averaged 0.5 ppg
- Transferring from Seton Hall

8) Eli Cain (2015) http://highschoolsports.nj.com/news/...on-university/
- Committed to DePaul
- Averaged 16 ppg, 5 rbs, 3 asts

Re: Patriot League Transfers Outbound/Inbound

Interesting to see and I would have loved for BU to have gotten Trae Jefferson. I wonder what pushed him to Texas Southern since he had high major offers. Maybe grades? Regardless, PG was a weakness for us last season, I wonder how things would have turned out had we gotten a commitment from one of them.

In other transfer news, Lehigh got a commitment from Florida Southwestern College JUCO Ed Porter (SF), averaged 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds. One of his teammates is going to Winthrop.

Brandon Alston to Georgia Tech with two years of eligibility. Great situation for him to get a master's from a great university. Not sure how much playing time he will get there but a good life and academic choice.

Re: Patriot League Transfers Outbound/Inbound

American guard Delante Jones to Seattle University. Out of their 4 transfers: 1 will be going to Seattle, one is going to McGill, one is going "pro", and the other is likely going D2. This might work out well for AU; their roster lacked D1 talent last year. Although most weren't highly regarded besides Sam Iorio, AU added 7 players and has one transfer eligible so a couple of them should turn out to be serviceable at least.
