Al Harrington

Today on Sportscenter they were talking about the Pacers using Harrington to move up in the draft. They said they have called teams from 5-10, using him as bait.

Larry Bird said he wants Luke Jackson because he's going to be the best white player.

I really like Al Harrington, and I'd do it.. if we could get #29, and their second rounder. Al Harrington is a nice player, but I really like the prospects of having an early lottery pick. Really, when it comes to the draft, I'm scared of trading the pick, because history shows when teams do that it's often the wrong move.

In a situation like this, the Sixers would hold all the cards (if there's no one else really interested), and could force the Pacers into taking a bad contract. That is if Billy King has upped his bargaining skills. Other wise we would probably give up a bunch of future first round picks.

If they got their hands on him, let's just hope Larry's knees prevent him from ever thinking of practicing with the team, because he'd really get angry if Luke decided to defend him.
