So what is our roster shaping up to be?
Besides Allen at the point, what will the roster be?
I think it is a very tough decision, and it will have to come down to who is best shape come training camp.
Its a major issue to decide on
Dalembert
Kenny Thomas
Brian Skinner
Marc Jackson
I am pretty confident with our post players, however we are extremely undersized as usual. Assuming that Robinson comes back in decent shape and ability, who else will start besides he and Allen?
We also have to figure willie green and andre into the picture as well.. Even Kyle coming off the bench.

If you are speaking on the starters. I think the lineup will look like this if Jim Obrien has a clue.
PG Allen Iverson
SG Willie Green
SF Glenn Robinson(not a fan of his by the way)
PF Kenny Thomas
C Samuel Dalembert
you have a bench of
Mckie
Skinner
Jackson
Korver
Igoudala
Salmons
Ollie
IR Ibrahim
IR Brown
IR Another player
Retired/inactive--Macollough/Coleman

I agree completely with this setup, this looks to be what it's going to be. Should be a fun look at least. Big Dog's playing for that next contract (NOT HERE, PLEASE!) so he should be giving his all. I think we have a decent shot as any in the Atlantic.

Well, I just think its so early to tell.. What about Skinner? He has been a big off-season acquisition. He will definitely get a shot at a starting, as well as Marc Jackson. Jackson is a straight up ballplayer who has tenacious defense. He really will help us down the stretch this season.
I am starting to feel positive about this season..
besides seeing Big Dog mope around the floor and chuck up bad shots.

Skinner wasnt brought here to start, hes not a starter in this league and jackson isnt either. Jacksons defense has been his biggest knock his entire career to the point where he hardly plays any. He wont be starting either. Both of those guys are good backup bigs

I agree with BEEZ. I do think Skinner will be getting significant minutes (at least 20+) behind Dalembert and Thomas. I am a bit queasy tight now about Green starting already, but I think I could be satisfied once preseason starts. Hopefully another trade can be pulled off, because I would like to see Brown play a little.

Skinner and Jackson are nice reserve big men, who I'm pretty sure know their roles. Since Kenny can swing down to the SF at times, it's possible Skinner and Jackson could be on the floor at the same times.
If only Jackson stayed healthy, he'd be a huge asset for this team, because his outside shot would bring the center away from the basket opening the lane up for our slashers.
I was reading the Daily News today, looks like Billy is talking to some more teams, he said he was talking to Dallas recently during the Press Conference thing he held yesterday. I'll see what I can find today.

Philly is supposed to be interested in Walker. If we can get him for Robinson and spare parts (Buckner?) I would do the trade. Walker could potentially be a great fit, being able to handle to point forward duties and having a good history with O'Brien. He has an expiring contract too, so we aren't adding salary. Robinson could be the Dallas type of player, offense over defense. I do doubt that we could get Walker so easily though.
Ooops, I didn't notice PhillyPhanatic's thread.
