Since Snow just got traded and Ollie isnt a starting caliber PG, what do you guys think of Salmons starting there? I'm a big fan of him since his Univ of Miami days. He played PG at Miami and created a lot of mismatches there. He was very good at Miami, but was overshadowed by Darius Rice. The Sixers should start him at PG.

Iverson will start at the one, with Willie at the two. There's another trade brewing so nothing is certain just yet.

I do know Willie Green has shown promise, but a Salmons-Iverson backcourt would create a lot of mismatches. And I know Iverson has played PG before, but I think he'd be better off at SG.

Actually the opposite. Salmons turns the ball over too much. Takes too long to get the ball upcourt and more often than not picks up his dribble a step or 2 in from the half court line. Not a starting caliber PG in this league. 2ndly Iverson is no longer a good option at the 2guard spot. Hes been badly beaten up playing there and he can no longer use his speed as a mismatch at the 2 because guys are just as fast and much much bigger than him

Salmons is going to get some good looks backing up the 1,2,3 positions. I've said it constantly, it's all about confidence with the guy, if he can keep his confidence he's a very nice player to have around.
