nywayz how do u thikn o'brien will affect the way philly plays ? do u think he'll go uptempo ?

for the last few years .. philly has always focused strongly on defence .. do u think thats gonna change ?

Hey, welcome aboard. Yeah, we are behind the other boards in terms of post count, but we're getting there. If we can keep more consistent conversation going on, I think we'll be fine.

On offense it's going to be a lot looser than the Brown years, O'Brien promoting a scheme where we aren't going to be focused on using the whole 24 and taking the best shot. He supports quick jumpers early in the 24 second clock, and he's a huge fan of the three pointers. He doesn't want a true PG, just guys who can handle the ball. So offensively things should look a lot different, as the Sixers are going to be running a lot more than in recent years.

On Defense, there's still going to be a lot of focus on the gritty defensive play that we had during the Brown years. Really that's the only way O'Brien and Brown are similar, they really love getting after it (and they also love playing smaller lineups). So that's really good, since the crowd at the Wachovia Center goes wild when they see the extra effort.

It'll be interesting that's for sure.
