With no television or radio audience, the Sixers stay undefeated in preseason play..
Quote:
LONDON, Ontario -- Allen Iverson had 10 points before being ejected for yelling at an official from the bench in Philadelphia's 108-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Iverson yelled at Courtney Kirkland to blow his whistle after the official failed to call a foul on Toronto in the second quarter. Kirkland gave Iverson a technical and then tossed him from the game after the guard repeated his demand.
Iverson, who was jawing with Kirkland earlier in the game, was sitting along the baseline. He left for the dressing room with 6:25 left in the second quarter.
Willie Green led the 76ers with 16 points. Morris Peterson led Toronto with 26.
Vince Carter dunked over Philadelphia's Samuel Dalembert in the first quarter, and converted a reverse alley-opp dunk in the third. He finished with seven points before sitting out the fourth quarter. Fans chanted 'We want Carter! We want Carter!' in the final minutes.
Some fans booed Carter during the pregame introductions. The five-time All-Star asked for a trade this summer.
After Donyell Marshall's dunk cut Philadelphia's lead to one with 53 seconds left, Marshall fouled Marc Jackson, who made two free throws with 43 seconds remaining.
Toronto's Chris Bosh followed with a layup, but Willie Greene made two free throws and Toronto's Morris Peterson missed a driving layup with 13 seconds left.
Kyle Korver's two free throws gave Philadelphia the final margin.

Anyone else suspicious of Iverson having a shouting match with an official and getting booted from the game, after being questionable to play the game?
The Sixers starting lineup was:
C: Dalembert, PF: Thomas, SF: Korver, SG: Iguodala, PG: Iverson
I don't know if that's to get some different looks, or if those are the players he feels are most comfortable with right now. Glenn Robinson, Nate James, and Kirk Haston were all scratches for this game, Glenn Robinson was letting his elbow rest, and Haston and James aren't even a threat to make the team.
Stat leaders:
Points: Willie Green - 16
Rebounds: Marc Jackson - 7
Assists: Andre Iguodala - 5
Steals: Iguodala - 3
Blocks: Samuel Dalembert - 1
Three Pointers: Kyle Korver - 3
Turnovers: Iguodala - 3
Personal Fouls: Jackson - 5
Here's a link to the complete statline.

Since it wasn't on TV and I was there, I'll give you my thoughts.
Iverson was kicked out very fast, no one in the crowd really saw it, and we all started booing. Its probably the only time AI will be in London, ON and he only played like 10 minutes.
Green is quick, I like him, didn't make a lot of jump shots though, alot of driving to the hoop. Korver spotted up the whole game, and the Raps defensive rotations were weak, he was open more than I would like.
Dalembert got in to foul trouble with Loren Woods and Bosh, Jackson played a lot of C. Dalembert did get aboslutely posterized by VC in the first quarter, one of Vince's top 5 all time dunks IMO.
Igoudala was quiet most of the game, but I really like him, sunk a three at 1:00 to seal the win.
Marc Jackson and Rap's rookie Araujo were shoving a lot for rebound position, I'm convinced Araujo is gonna fight someone this year, he is mean!
Josh Davis, never heard of this dude before, had a nice looking shot, and he did a 360 dunk in warm ups. Iggy and VC were doin sweet dunks in warm up. Andre did a nice windmill, then Vince did a bounce/lob windmill that was sick.
Toronto did spend most of the game trying out different lineups for the second rotation.

It's pretty fishy, that's all I'll say about that.
And CrookedJ thanks for the recap, I'm sitting here really dissapointed in Comcast, because they own the place the game was played you'd at least think they'd find a time to play it.
I saw the VC dunk on Dalembert on Sportscenter, would've been an even better looking dunk if Sammy got over there earlier.

Im a little worried about this. He needs to keep his foul trouble under control.

I think he's just trying to block every shot instead of picking his spots. Loren Woods is no big offensive option to be bailing him out.
On the other side, why do people go for Marc Jackson pump fakes from 18 feet - it happened at least 3 times last night
Preseason coverage up here has been pathetic, esp with no hockey. I mean all our sports channels are usually hockey, hockey, hockey, and now without it they still can't even show any decent highlights of a game.

go there and download the Vince Carter Top 10 Plays, you could probably find about 8 dunks in there better than the Sammy one
