STORYLINE: Prior to the season many publications picked the 76ers and the Knicks as the teams to beat in the Atlantic division, but with the season just a week old both teams are are on the wrong end of two game losing streaks. The Knicks with their wealth of offensive firepower only put up 73 points in their home opener against the Celtics, with the leading scorer being second year power forward Michael Sweetney who put up 18 in 32 minutes.
76ers are having trouble on both ends of the ball, and will look to pressure the Knicks who have an added size advantage at all of their positions in the backcourt. 76ers who have fell behind by double digits in each of their three games must protect the ball early on where they usually play sloppy to dig themselves into a hole.

"Roy Williams does not deserve all of the criticism he receives for his poor pass coverage. His Stop Rate of 43% ranked 6th among all safeties involved in at least 40 passing plays. Williams' biggest problem in pass coverage is that he gets little help from Keith Davis" - 2006 Pro Football Prospectus
yea, the only 3 people that played solid games where iggy, ivo and green (excluding the turnovers from ivo and green), everyone else had a bad game, Marc Jackson needs to learn to pass, he took too many shots that he shouldn't have, we need sammy back

"If you've ever seen Iverson play in person, you know that his improvisational skills are amazing. Baron Davis calls him unguardable. He's a killer on the fast break. One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"
