Trade Glen Robinson to the Pacers??

In light of the recent player suspensions in Indy, I think they're going to need players esp another scorer until they get their suspended players back? ie; Glen Robinson. I don't see those guys, esp the players who hit the fans getting off with only a 10-game suspesion after that fiasco.
Instead of us buying him out and getting nothing for him, Billy King should try to dangle him to the Pacers. I'd be satisfied with a future 1st Rd pick. They of course won't have any players left to trade to us.
And plus, I haven't heard any trade news involving Big Dog. What do you guys think?

I'd be interested, but they'd need to matchup contracts. Not sure who they'd offer, or if they'd be interested. It would be him returning to his home team, for whatever that's worth.

You need to just release him if you want him gone. There's pretty much no situation where you can get just a pick for him, as salaries need to match up. Teams aren't going to give you a pick and quality players for Robinson, so at best you'd be getting back a decent pick and horrible contracts. Maybe something along the lines of a Jalen Rose or an Eddie Jones and a first rounder. Basically, an average yet costly vet and a pick that may not come until a few years down the line. Is it better than just getting rid of Robinson for nothing? I personally wouldn't think so.

I wouldn't mind trying out Glenn Robinson, but only if he could be had for next to nothing. O'Neal & Jackson are only out for 1/4th the regular season, and the Pacers have a buttload of players who will be returning from injuries before they get back. I think they'll be a-ok. Remember, once the playoffs begin the regular season goes out the window. However like I said, G-Rob would be a solid addition if he could be had for cheap.
