Greg Buckner scores 28 points for Nuggets..
Talk about insult to injury, we lose today's game to the Heat where our offense is pretty much non-existant in the fourth quarter, and then I find out that a player we bought out earlier this year Greg Buckner blows up for 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals?
I know Buckner isn't capable of doing this every night, and he didn't fit on our team, but thinking about the fact we bought him out hurts to see him do this in a game where the Nuggets simply blowout the Mavericks.
What are we going to see next Zendon Hamilton have a 20-20 game? Damn.

On Greg Buckner
It figures. He use to light it up at Clemson, so I was kind of excited when we got him. But then he didn't even pan out coming off the bench. It blows...
My estimation is that I think the only reason Obie is going with Marc Jackson over Dalembert is he believes in having a real center in the middle b/c Jackson does fit that mold and is built more like a true center, while Dalembert is not - he's more of a power fwd. But all that aside, why is it sometimes hard for some coaches to see what is very clear to us fans? Just put Delembert in the starting lineup.
Coach O is appearing more and more like a stubborn coach, `a la, Larry Brown who doesn't like to play rookies. And Obie did mention that Dalembert didn't quite catch on to his defensive schemes...

Is Buckner better than Iguodala, Mckie, Korver, Salmons, or Glenn Robinson? He might be better than Mckie, but there was really no reason to keep Buckner around in Philly it seems.

I like Salmons, I really do, but what has he proven in the NBA at all. He's at least on par with Buckner. Buckner is not better than Big Dog, but they are trying to cut Big Dog anyway. So it's not like Buckner being better than Big Dog matters.

I'm still happy he's gone. He never wanted to be here in the first place.

That's not exactly my point, my point is we bought him out when teams were interested in him (most notably the Nuggets), instead of trying to trade him. So we watch him produce for someone else while he's still basically on the Sixers payroll.

Exactly. And if this team bought out Big Dog, the same thing will happen. Big Dog will produce in this league.
