Why is everyone sleeping on the Sixers
I just read the East playoff picture thread, and a lot of people don't even have the Sixers making the playoffs, they have played the toughest schedule in the league so far, Miami, Magic Twice, Spurs, Sonics, Pacers pre-brawl, Pistons, Suns, Wizards, Knicks, all of them are .500 teams, they've only played 2 teams under 500, Boston and New Jersey, they've had starting line up woes because coach Obie keeps fluxuating the line up and the bench, some players are still adjusting to his system but they're getting that down now, Obie also already has a doghouse (Samuel Dalembert, Kenny Thomas), he is not necessarily playing the best players, he is playing the players he likes, soon enough Samuel will get a starting role (he is averaging 5.5 rpg in only 18 mpg) and in every game above 20 minutes, he's averaging 7 rpg, but the average of those minutes is still only 23 mpg (he is also averaging close to 2 bpg in those games as well), so his rebounding and blocking is for real, he is not the fluke some people thought he was, when he does start, it will really help the team, and we are still hovering around .500 even with playing arguably the 5 best teams in the L (Seattle, San Antonio, Indiana, Miami and Phoenix), one game behind first place, with that schedule, don't expect them to miss the playoffs
