I think if the team is out of the playoff race, but he is doing well, the Sixers could fetch something really nice for him. In a year or two, his value is going to be low. Now King has been an awful GM and he has never seemed to make the right move in his time as GM, so you just know he's going to hold onto AI (not saying that he shouldn't), for way too long, even when it means the team can't win.

See you trade AI to bring in two or 3 quality players and send a guy like Kenny Thomas or Marc Jackson packing (with their ridiculous contracts). Not saying that a deal should happen, but there is a very good chance, that the Sixers could at least something nice for him and start to build the team around a group of guys rather than an aging warrior in AI. I don't honestly know what the solution is, but many a team get awful, by holding onto a fading star too long. Look how quickly Boston has rebuilt around Pierce with quality young guys.
