Having to go through this rough stretch this early in the season, AI has taken it all (media's questions and ridicule) graciously and professionally like the team leader that he is. And let us not forget how he stayed in to play for the Olympic bb team when other NBA superstars dropped out or declined invitations.
It has been a trying season thus far w/ a new coach, system, and players but AI has been taking it all in stride w/o blowing up in frustration. He's doing his best to work w/ the coach and staying out of controversy. He's still hustling and carrying the team on his back. With all this being said, some things come to mind about the remainder of the season:

Allen Iverson – If we’re serious about contending in the weak Eastern Conference, AI needs some assistance. His window of opportunity is closing for winning a championship. I can’t take another season of missing the playoffs.

Billy King – This is your opportunity to pull a rabbit out of your hat. Get AI some help because what I foresee from you if the 76ers continue down this disappointing road is your ultimate trading of AI bc YOU weren’t able to surround him with any quality, productive players to keep the 76ers competitive.

Glenn Robinson – Play him or trade him. If we let him go and get nothing in return, I will be very disappointed but not surprised considering who we have running the show.

Coach O’Brien – What the hell is up with you not playing Samuel Dalembert? He was the one player I was excited about watching this year. Everyone saw that his contributions from last season gave Philly fans hope for the new year until you came in and benched him outright. Egos and differences need to be checked at the door and let the man play.

The Media - This will be a longer season than previous ones for AI and we can’t expect him to endure the same physical punishment his body has taken in the past. His durability and stamina will be put to the test. The physical strain of playing in the Olympics has been known to wear down players late in the season. So, I want to tell you all especially the media to get off his goddamn back if wants to skip a practice or two. I think he’s a veteran who’s earned his place in this league and deserves to be treated as such – period!

Kunlun

We need a second scorer desperately. Everybody except Iverson is inconsistant in scoring.

Coatesvillain

I think Marc Jackson is probably the most consistent scorer on the team. Gets the same amount of points on the same amount of shots in every game.

It's nice to see alleninsf took a completely different approach than I did, I wouldn't want everyone to be negative, I just don't see how you can put talent around Iverson we had players who fit around him and we whittled that core away until we got where we're at now.. it's like making a toothpick out of a Sequioa.

Getting a second scorer next to Allen is easier said than done, if anything all we'd do is get another aging player who used to be something (Jalen Rose.. is that you?), I really don't want to go down that path again.

This team has five players I could see other teams really wanting (not sure which teams though), and they are:

Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, Kyle Korver, Allen Iverson, and Glenn Robinson (mostly for his contract).

Something drastic is going to have to be done.
