As I type this, Wille Green drives, hits the buckets, draws the foul, makes Andre Miller get a T with a FT too come.
13 in 7

Nice D by Philly, forcing Nuggets to use one of their timeouts.
Iverson with a steal in his last 40 games
Dalembert in for the last 30 seconds, with 5 fouls. Nice sub, in for defense
It's possible (Tmac) but it's unlikely the Nuggets will win

yeap i love when dalembert starts and then marc jackson comes in with the scoring punch.
I still think willie green should be starting, being saying all year long. But i guess he has to prove himself, its only one game.
Good win !
Iverson had 7 TO's in the first quarter if iam correct lol

So, Iverson didn't have any turnovers for the rest of the game after the first quarter? That's pretty good.

Thank god Dalembert starts now.
Great game by the Sixers. Hopefully, this should give Green some confidence which should help him win a starting spot.

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

nope, dont think AI had any TO after 1st quater, or did he have 5 TO's in the first .. i think was 7. His playing well during this lil stretch. Just wondering, how many triple doubles does Iverson have ?
Philly's putting on a lil winning streak here, hope they can continue it against the Knicks, going to be a good game

Allen Iverson has had one triple double his whole career. I think it happened two years ago against the Clippers.

I finally got to watch this game earlier today, but the site was down so I couldn't post about it before I left for work. The play of the game (and there was a lot of alley-oops that were amazing but none of them were the best play of the game) was when Willie Green crossed Andre Miller over and drove to the basket for a layup.
Iggy did a respectable job defending Carmelo Anthony, and the Dalembert/Jackson front court allows Jackson to linger around the perimeter where I honestly think he's better suited. When Jackson gets the ball in the post, the ball isn't coming back out, but when he's on the perimeter he's more open to passing the ball.
The rotation was almost perfect in that game, now whenever Kenny Thomas comes back it'll be interesting to see how that works.
I'll still say that Willie Green shouldn't start, he should stay coming off the bench to provide the scoring punch. He won't blow up like this every night, but he's capable of putting up nice numbers in every game and bringing the energy. Once he came on the floor, there was no way the Sixers would lose.
Another note, the best thing I noticed is that Iguodala is becoming a lot more aggressive offensively, I'm hoping he keeps that up.
