What is wrong with our Defense?
Ok, i dont get to watch many philly games, so i would like ppl to tell me why is it that we are the 4th worst team in the NBA in points allowed per game ? Yet we are the best team in the NBA in forcing opponents TO's per game.
Is it our individual defense ? can someone shed some light on this baffling topic !

thats an easy question, we are way too inconsistant, some days we play incredible defense, and others, we play some of the worst in the league.

also, the O'Brien's plan of fronting the post leads to a lot of offensive rebounds for the other team.

Also let's add in for a guy who puts such importance into shooting the three, doesn't do anywhere near enough emphasizing defending it. The corner three pointers are open all day.
And they have some people on this team that don't use their feet well especially Corliss Williamson and Marc Jackson.

No ****. The one glaring weakness in the game I saw against the Warriors was the lack of perimeter defense. They were getting wide open 3's for days...
So as evident as this is, I can't believe Billy King can say that he's satisfied with the team we have now?

1. it's more of a fault of the strategy than the players
2. WIth a lot of hussle it can be overcome
3. The east doesn't have any really good 3pt shooting teams, so it only really matters if they make the finals, and that's pretty satisfactory
