Just talked to Korver....
Its 12 am and i just got home from the sixers game 2nite, i waited with what seemed the rest of philadelphia to get korver's autograph and to talk to him, i had to endor a huge line that wrapped around the wachovia center and some christian music rap concert, some really bad white guy who sung about mcdonalds and burgers and fries. My head is pounding but i stuck with it cause i wanted to meet K2. So i finally got up close and had him sign my jersey that i bought off a kid for 5 bucks (10 year olds, haha what do they know about money, he thought he was rich ) anyway, i went up and said the usual, good game, ur playing well this year, and then the biggest question, "Hey Kyle, has the NBA called you to invite you to the 3 point shootout!" He said yeah, and im gonna win it this year, no doubt man, no doubt. I was thrilled to hear that he was so confident. Well anyway, he said he got the call and will participate and win , Anyway, GO KORVER and the rest of the Sixers

Hey that is pretty cool, but next time leave out the story of taking advantage of youngsters.
Haha.

Haha, at least you didn't steal the jersey from the kid.
I'm not shocked that Korver was invited to the three point shootout especially after how well he performed in it last season.

I know Damon Jones is saying he wants to win it, and is guaranteeing victory.. not sure if he's in it. There's no way Michael Redd would be snubbed two years in a row. After that I'd assume Peja, and Ray Allen. If those six were in it, this could be the best in a long time.

I'd put Reggie there too just in case it's his last year.

This year its Allen, Johnson, Korver, Leonard, Radmanovic, and Richardson. Peja is done with the 3pt contest i guess.

Voshon Lenard may be out for the season, but he is not out of the Three-Point Shootout.
A member of the host Nuggets, Lenard will defend his title in the shooting competition at All-Star Weekend in Denver on February 19.
In the season opener, Lenard suffered a torn left Achilles tendon and was ruled out for the season. He apparently has recovered enough to participate in shooting drills, which is what the competition is.
Last year, Lenard dethroned two-time champion Peja Stojakovic of the Sacramento Kings, who afterward said he would no longer compete in the event. However, Lenard still faces a stiff challenge for the unofficial title of "best shooter in the NBA."
The field of six includes five of the top nine in 3-pointers made, although overall percentage leader Fred Hoiberg of Minnesota is not entered.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Kyle Korver, who finished third last year as the first rookie to compete in the event, is entered for the second straight year. Korver is second in the NBA with 135 3-pointers and is shooting 41.3 percent from the arc.
The field also features two sets of teammates in Quentin Richardson and Joe Johnson of Phoenix and Ray Allen and Vladimir Radmanovic of Seattle.

It says it on NBA.coms All Star frontpage as well.
