After the Playoffs
I dont want to look past the play-offs because I still believe in my Sixers.
I just got this nagging question, Looking at the way we are playing in the playoffs (We are playing outstanding)......Who do you guys wanna trade and who do you guys wanna keep??????????????
We are gonna be reckon crew next season!!!!!
Everybody better look out for the Sixers. I smell a championship run, Especially with Webber healthy and learning the offense with AI. , Iggy and Dalembert getting that experience, and Obrien finally having a stable line-up with Dalembert getting his minutes......Its gonna be on....Look how the champs are having trouble with us now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: After the Playoffs
In a dream world we'd get this guy via trade..
Getting Radman via trade would put us over the top I think, if we could keep Korver, Green, and Dalembert and use the MLE on a solid bench big. That's a pipe dream though, since the Sixers would have to give something important up to get Radman.

Don't want to trade anyone unless we get someone better back. Most important trade would be one to bring in a second round pick or two.

Yes, definately. The Sixers are going to be extremely dangerous next season with a healthier Webber and more experienced Iguodala, Korver and Green. O'Brien has improved a lot during this first round series and I expect him to learn from this experience and for it to continue into next season. Finally, we have something to look forward to after the playoffs!

Re: After the Playoffs
The big key is Iguodala offensive game maturing and defining his position. The draft has been productive for the Sixers. Our flexibility is limited.

Next Season
What are we going to do? We definately need to make some trades. It's a shame that we don't have a first round pick. That REALLY would have come in handy at this point in our franchise, and in Iverson's career.
Next year, Iverson is one year older. He's gettin older guys, and we need to help this guy achieve his dreams. And we need to start buildin a strong squad. And atheltic squad. Iverson is obviously strong enough to carry a team. I mean look at the squad this year and tell me how they made it to the play-offs. Iverson, Igoudala, and Dalembert should stay in the starting line up next year. Webber is gettin old. We definately need a tall atheltic SF, and a better PF. Webber is fine, but he is gettin extremely old, his minutes will start to decrease.
Come on, we need our front office to step up!
2004-05 MVP: Allen Iverson

Re: Next Season
We all know this, but how do we manage to pull off a trade to a team for their first round pick with the guys on our team. I'm sure nobody wants to lose our young developing players like Iguodala, Green, Dalembert and Korver so it will be extremely tough to get a good deal.

Re: Next Season
I would deal Green if needed...POSSIBLY Korver if we were able to get a 3-point shooter in return...but I'd probably wanna keep Korver...even after that wack *** shot in game 4.

Re: Next Season
FWIW, Charles Barkley is very high on the Sixers future. I'm not sure if it means much of anything, but at least it means we aren't the only ones who see it.

Re: Next Season
You think it would be possible to do a sign and trade with Willie Green and Radman? I really don't want to see Willie go, but I don't see O'Brien playing him much next season anyways.

No, we'd probably have to move Jamal Mashburn's contract, and something else. I'm not sure if Green would get it done, or if he'd fit what they do up in Seattle.

Oh I didn't mean straight up, just the start of a package or something. I'd like to have Radman on the team.

Re: Next Season
Anyone know if there is any possibility of Jamal Mashburn coming back, or is his knee done for? He needs to retire and free up some market cap for the 76ers if he's really not going to play again.

Hey welcome to the boards jpk!
Jamal Mashburn's NBA career is over, his contract is set to come off the books in March. He'll probably be used as trade bait in the offseason.
