Sixers need to develop true understanding of a franchise

Sixers need to Develop a true understanding of a franchise.
Some suggestions observations Guesses,
while Allen Iverson and Terrell Owens try to shake off the Humilation of the National Public in washington dc.
This dates back way back to 1983, should many fans remember the last championship
this glorious town has ever seen, at least from the Majors. A year after the sixers won the title, they made Moves to remove themselves from players like Moses Malone,
Andrew Toney, and many if not all will remember the 7 foot Monster Big bang Choclate thunder Darryl Dawkins. We had losing seasons for 20 consective seasons.
How dare we do this to ourselves? How dare we remove ourselves from players who could've done something for at least 3 of these losing seasons, at fan's favorite and best possible result maybe 7, A year after we drafted 76ER' superb guard Allen Iverson we drafted Shawn Bradley, Why did we draft a 7'6 basiC nobody who looked like a giant, yet played like an 'inch basketball player at best? Why did we trade Theo ratliff a guy proven to be a monsterous shot blocker, and a critical defensive guy for Dikembe Motombo when we were only going to use him for one year, when General manager Billy king should've known we had at least 2 if not hopefully 3 tries at the title? A franchise isn't just a simply put basketball team, It isn't merely a business, but a fan base-market which attracts winners and fans and children alike to see there Heroes win and win consistantly and learn from the pains of defeat. Thus far Billy king has failed to make this product a productive one, Consistantly we have made ridicilous trades, and have consistantly lost every time. The only exception is the Webber deal, we shall not know if we lost this time untill the end of this year. To learn from the pain of defeat is to eventually win Billy King. The franchise is no where near completed, yet a minor and very silly task stands in our way of profilling the dream of a franchise. Eventually winning, that is what keeps us from feeling this pain Billy king.
Why put us through 23 years of suffering, Painful defeats inwhich seem like they end up Invain? It seems like all we can do for our children is a mere regular season victory. The franchise has done well, buliding a market of well-talented players for the most part to make a sucess in some type of way, but the way that is most important is a title, and for that Billy must stop thinking Playoffs, and think title, and for that he must focus on the Importance of one critical thing.
A franchise.

It sounds simple, but sports is a business. And like any industry, there are winners and losers. The winners are run by folks that are generally really smart, clever, hard working, and lucky. The losers are run by folks that are missing some of those things. You've got your New York Yankees, your Microsoft, and your StarBucks. Then you've got your Detroit Lions, your Pets.com, and your Krispy Kreme. (Heck, how DID Krispy Kreme manage to screw up a dougnut business that had a product people were willing to die for? Talk about a bunch of losers!)

For some reason, not every owner is a Steinbrenner or a Gates.

Agreed. Unfortunately for over 20+ years, we have been the runner up. Hopefully the Eagles will end that.
