Rasho Nesterovic?
Any interest?
From an outsider's view, it's easy to assume that the San Antonio Spurs front court is going to become pretty crowded. They have Tim Duncan, Nazr Mohammed, Robert Horry (if he's re-signed after opting out), and newcomer Luis Scola, with four capable bigs the Spurs wouldn't have any use for Rasho.
Rumors are out there that the Spurs are going to take advantage of the chance to not have to pay the luxury tax on any of Nesterovic's contract and will waive him. Even though the Spurs are under the cap it helps them, because they wouldn't have to pay tax when/if they do go over.
Now if Rasho Nesterovic is released would you have any interest in him? He has soft hands, he has a nice midrange game, is a solid rebounder.. but he's soft as drug store cotton.
What do you think?

Re: Rasho Nesterovic?
Look at it this way, Out of all of our players some of them only went to the finals Once, did they win it? Nope, this is a guy who did win it, and who indeed does bring championship experience, he has a nice jumper, and he puts hustle points on the board are a very consistant rate, he has an okay shot blocking ability, he's also a pretty good rebounder, but this isn't a guy that's going to go and say I have 3 rings give me a big *** contract, no he's going to come in work and try to help whatever team he's on get close or win a ring, no he wasn't a prime time player during any of there championship attempts, but he did have a signifcant enough influence to have me interested, he's a guy that knows how to play the right way, we have LB junior guys, we can't keep sticking with these low lives who play no defense, who knows no defense, Look where Chris Webber came out of Sac-town that team played no defense, STILL PLAYS NO DEFENSE! Rasho has been on a team that played defense, knowed defense and PREACHED it, we're going to turn into that in the next year or two so we better avoid ******s and get some nice quality talent KNOW THE GAME-players such as dear Mr.Rasho.

Re: Rasho Nesterovic?
I for one actually like Rasho Nesterovic. He's a big guy with skills. He's just lost his confidence, he is waived I would definately want to pick him up even for the entire mid level exception. He can rebound and play good defense down low and would be an excellent backup for Dalembert. He's also got a nice mid range jumper, but his free throws are shakey. Our frontcourt would be very solid if we could get him somehow.

Re: Rasho Nesterovic?
I wouldn't mind getting him, as long as it isn't a huge contract. He would be a nice backup, and we would have a pretty decent front court with Rasho and Jackson backing up Dalembert and Webber. Two defensive-type players with two offensive-type players.

Re: Rasho Nesterovic?
I would pick him if we don’t give much to him, he have a nice European foot work and he is good in the D and have a decent work in the blocks and know the time to do it and also can teach too Sam and SA defiantly will not use much him this next season because they are happy with the job Nazr produced on the team.
One good player.
