Ron Artest?
If the Pacers decide to trade Ron Artest, would you want him here in Philly? I personally would love to have him on the team, even with the off the court/in the stands problems he's sure to bring. What do you think we could send to Indiana to aquire Artest?

Re: Ron Artest?
I'd love to have him on the team, but I don't think we have anything the Pacers would want. Also, they are a much better team with Artest on the team than without him.

You didn't ask, but I'd LOVE to have him on the Clippers. But, like you ... we don't have anything the Pacers would want nor would Artest want to play for us. Then again, he is interested in music (rap), so LA might be the place for his second career. Hmmm ...

Re: Ron Artest?
If we don't give up Iverson, Dalembert or Webber for Artest then I'm all up for it. Artest is a very good player and his contract is very reasonable as well. He would be perfect for this team.

You wouldn't give up Dalembert for Ron Artest, but you'd deal Iggy for him? Are you serious?

My fault, I left Iggy off the untouchable list. Iverson, Webber, Dalembert and Iguodala should not be traded for Artest.

So you still wouldn't give up Dalembert for Artest?
Explain that one.

The Sixers are too shallow at the center position, Dalembert is the only player we can put there effectively. If we lost him we lose any chance of competing in this league.

Re: Ron Artest?
trade billy king for artest will be good for both teams.
artest is a solid D and we need a defender soo bad too and good scorer and brings intensity but i thing he is too good for sixers getting him .
i dont thing this trade can happen.

Its not Shaq we're talking about. Hell, its not even Jamal Magloire we're talking about.
Its Sam Dalembert. I think even Isiah Thomas would know enough that you deal Sam Dalembert for Ron Artest if you get the chance.
I'd probably deal Iggy for Artest as well. Best case development for Iggy is Ron Artest. Its a deal that you would probably have to make if offered.

Re: Ron Artest?
Dalembert for Artest is a good deal. Dalembert for Iggy is dicey, but probably still a good deal.

Re: Ron Artest?
I wouldn't trade Iguodala for Artest, because of his potential and what he can already do on the floor. With his work ethic he's going to keep getting better.

Re: Ron Artest?
I would love him on the team. Because he has committed to no fighting.
