Willie Green hurt?
http://www.nba.com/features/blog_050802.html
It says that he injured his knee and will need surgery and the team will hold off signing him to see what happens with it. If I was Green I would have taken it easy until you get that contract signed. Now he could possible lose alot of money. Hopefully this isnt true.

What should happen is that its major reconstructive knee surgery and Billy King will still sign him to that contract.

That's one way to avoid a long contract.

Re: Willie Green hurt?
I read this in the paper today. I don't understand why he would play a pickup game and take a risk like that. I would definitely not sign him now. Murray is a good option. Hopefully the injury isn't as bad as it sounds.

Bring Flip home, Bring Flip Home. That would be awesome and Philly would go wild. Thats one guy that wouldnt be scared to shoot with AI

Re: Willie Green hurt?
ya, Swirsky, well the Raptors commentator said that Danny Manning had the same incident happened to him like 15 yrs ago after agreeing into a deal, but Suns owner still paid him. Tho i dunno how different the situation is to this one, but u think King will still pay him at least some of the agreed amount?

Good. The biggest problem this team has always had is someone that is just as agressive as AI and wouldnt be scared to shoot. The guy can create his own shot and score, score, score which hes proven. Bring Flip home!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Willie Green hurt?
The 76ers were overpaying Willie Green anyways. I wonder if he would get 50% of that on the open market.

Re: Willie Green hurt?
I'm just glad he didn't sign that contract before an injury like this happened. We could probably get him for a lot cheaper now, also I wouldn't want him for six years, I think maybe three years is okay for him.
