Re: Where do the 76ers stand in the East?
I agree, Noah will plummet. Unless he duplicates last year's championship performance, everyone will say his game dropped off.

Re: Where do the 76ers stand in the East?
I'm sorry Coatesvillian but the Pistons are yesterday's news, their starting center is Nazr Mohammed, Flip Saunders is STILL the NBA's playoff choker and their head coach. And they still don't have a go-to-guy. This isn't the NFL, where the New England Patriots have a good overall team. The Pistons don't have a good overall team. They have weaknesses, and they need a go-to-guy, if not a defensive front-beast. Nazr provides neither. He just provides another solid guy. They have a solid lineup, but it's 2nd round material now.

You said the same thing after last season.. and you know what's the same? They're still better than the Sixers, they're still a playoff team, and they might still find their way to the Eastern Conference Finals. Ben Wallace is a good player, but his departure isn't enough to stop the Pistons from being a good team.

Re: Where do the 76ers stand in the East?
Ben Wallace gave them 14 rebounds and 2 blocks a GAME EVERY NIGHT. This isn't fumbling Samuel Dalembert, Big Ben gave you some ****ing consistency on that the defensive end of the floor. With Big ben gone, well I just don't want to mention the possibilitys of how bad the Pistons defense will be.

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"
