alright, so as I posted previously I was living in Upper Darby on my own for a little bit. I got a little preoccupied with this chick named Mary Jane, and after the finals, stopped paying attention to basketball. The last big basketball news I remember was Peja signing with NO.

I read in Beez's thread that we had the worst offseason in the East, so could someone recap to me exactly what happened? I'm also interested to know if there were any big free agent acquisitions or trades for the league in general.

Sorry if this seems a little out of place, I just want to be caught up to date.

The biggest problem with the sixers activity is that there is hardly any. The Henderson signing was more or less the only move of the offseason. They had a slightly positive draft, but both Rodney Cardney and Bobby Jones play the same two positions, which is already occupied by Iggy, Green, possibly AI, Korver... nothing solves our need for a solid offensive post presence, or a post defender, or the coaching defeciencies... the team is more or less a mess.

Billy King has focused on making the Seats at the Wachovia center (which are already comfty to me) more comfy. This new change of attitude, I like it, I'll go to the games, only to sleep on this soft new seat at the COVA. But really, read Sllicat's post, it's been a horrendous disaster.
