Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
On ESPN2. They're playing horrible defense, but pretty good on the interior. AI is lighting them up.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
That's because they're playing zone, nevermind.
Some Positives:
AI 6/7 for 17 so far, and playing really, really good defense.
Team making sure that Iggy gets touches, he's playing point.
Dalembert playing really good on defense. Blocking shots, staying in place, and avoiding fouls.
Some Negatives:
Green starting over Korver and Carney, iffy.
Iguadala playing point well, but he's not really doing much after he loses the ball. Only one dunk.
Webber slow as usual.
Zone not really working.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
Wow, this just got really good. They just came back from down 22 to down 4, with AI and Webber both on the bench, Steve Nash and a couple other starters were in for the suns.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
Just tuned in to watch the 2nd half.
Were now up by 2 with 10 secs left on a long range 3 by Rodney Carney.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
Isn't Rick Brunson a journeyman guard? He looked pretty good. Much better than what's his name, our backup from last yr.
Also, I have to note that we made much of this comeback with AI and Cwebb on the bench.
Final:
Sixers 103
Suns 100

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
If Willie Green starts tomarrow(or wednesday, i forget which), Cheeks needs to be shot. Korver and Carney both had very good performances, Korver more so. Carney is still too worried about making an impression; he'll hog the ball at times.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
The Suns played pretty much on dead legs in the fourth quarter, but it was still impressive that the young guys really came together and finally played some solid defense. Carney looked good and didn't force the action, Iggy seems to be more aggressive, he drove to the basket on two or three occasions which was very rare last season. If Webber is on the court, the team defense is almost nonexistent, sad but true.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns
My thoughts:
Korver played his *** off. He was making some nice mid range shots consistently, can't remember the last time i saw that.
I like Rodney a lot. He wasn't afraid to initiate the offense. Ballhog or not I'd say its a welcome change from the defer to ai and webber tactics ai2 put us through last year.
The offense still looked damn stale at times. I guess its preseason so i'll wait before going off too much.
We still can't defend the perimeter or get a damn rebound.
Shav is great.
