Philadelphia 76ers(4-3) at Phoenix Suns(2-5)
Quote:
Philadelphia (4-3) opened a three-game road trip Wednesday with a 96-90 victory at Seattle, its first win in four games. Allen Iverson scored 28 points, but was just 6-for-22 from the field and needed plenty of help from his teammates.
``In the last four games, I've been struggling. Just trying to get my rhythm back I've been struggling with it,'' Iverson said. ``But the most positive thing when you're struggling is to win anyway. That lets you know the type of guys you're playing with. That's just a good feeling.''
Starting forward Andre Iguodala had 12 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, and Philadelphia's bench outscored Seattle's 30-12.
The Sixers were also much more pleased with their defensive effort after allowing their previous two opponents to score at least 106 points.
``We just have to continue to go to the drawing board,'' guard Kevin Ollie said of his team's defense. ``It's a process and everyone was kind of getting down on us after the three-game losing streak, but we just stayed with it and Coach Maurice (Cheeks) keeps preaching it to us and it's going to transfer.''
The Suns have won four straight meetings with the 76ers and seven of eight. Philadelphia has not won at Phoenix since April 3, 2002.

GREAT comeback by the sixers. They were down by 15, and made a 16-0 run. Exciting.

I really love having Randolph in the game. We should start him over Webber.

Yah i caught the game half way thru the 3rd qtr we really need to just solve this situation with Webber and get rid of him, i got to see what are team can be like with either Hunter or Randolph in there
Webber its time to go, just leave.

Willie Green was unbelievable in this one. Kid is playing with a chip on his shoulder despite the lifetime contract, good stuff.

Yep I have been watching all the games and thats why I've become a Webber hater!!!! Dude is just done. One move to the basket and your past webber and he just stands there ......Its a damn shame! I'm just glad Cheeks is having the balls to keep his anus on the bench.
I would trade him to any team willing to take him for some kind of big or I'd just bring him off the bench with the second team if we couldnt trade him.

Re: Philadelphia 76ers(4-3) at Phoenix Suns(2-5)
I was shocked at Green's play. This is the first time I've seen them since the preseason, and he really sucked then. Maybe Cheeks knows what he's doing?
Oh nevermind.
This illustrated graphically the difference between the sixers and a true contender. Sad.
