Brown a sellout??
Does anyone think Larry Brown is a sellout, because of the new coaching situation?

I dont think hes a sellout, but hes shown his true colors yet again as he builds teams up, when he feels they are on a downswing he bolts and then blasts the franchise that he just left. Its Just Larry brown being Larry Brown.

You can call him what you want, he pretty much goes to a place to win, and if and when he fails and it starts getting ugly he leaves. Its pretty clear he has done it everywhere else, so we should not feel completely betrayed, also him being a coach here has not been stable for a while now. I think he did what he wanted, tried and failed, and he left a big mess, which very well could to a long time to clean up.

I dont know if he was sighn with the Pistons before he resighned, but if he made the decision to sighn after he resighned then he just saw a oppertunity and took it. I think this is his last attemp to win a ring. I wish him the best of luck.
BUT IF HE DID BETRAY US THEN HE CAN ROTT IN H**L
Nah j/p Larry. Good luck. We'll get you next year.

This article pretty much sums up my feelings on Larry Brown and the whole situation.
http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/ne...03-100746.html
I wished him well right up until that press conference. It's hard for me to now root for him to fail miserably only becuase Joe Dumars and the rest of thier team seem like a bunch good guys with some tact and integrity.
I couldn't care less that he signed with another team, even Detroit, or even as quickly as he did. The man's gotta work. But him taking post-partum swipes at Allen Iverson and trying to pin his managerial mess at the feet of Billy King, that's as low as it gets.

I think that should sum up how he likes to leave his teams... crashing and burning.

LOL I like that, not because it actually pissed me off, but that it was very clever.
But I understand why all these fans feel betrayed in a way but come on, he had done it everywhere else. Its not like he had this amazing loyalty with us. If you were him, and you were close to being on your way out, trying to become the first coach to win both NCAA and NBA title. Would you stick with the team you just lost with in the 2nd round and is in horrible cap trouble, or would you go to a team who has the 2nd pick, great fan base, no real nonsense players, and a great cap situation..
The only real reason I am upset is with WHAT he left us with. In Indiana they still had Rose, Miller, the Davis brothers (I believe at the time). That waas a nice situation there, but here well.......... yea lets just leave it at that.
