Why are we doused with such bad luck?
I knew this would happen, Iggy is a stud and it wouldnt be possible for him not to grown and even though we are losing we are still winning and its driving me insane.
/end rant

What's even worse is seeing the Celtics leapfrog us to get Oden/Durant. That would make me sick to see them get the top pick...

Re: Why are we doused with such bad luck?
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
It's easy to be mad at losing the shot at the top pick, but at the same time Iguodala breaking out is excellent news. With three draft picks in the first round (as long as they don't make a late playoff push), two second rounders.. there's a chance that things can still progress in a positive manner.
The ironic thing of all this is if the Sixers kept Iverson they'd still be on worst team in the L pace, Iguodala wouldn't have broken out and I couldn't say the situation would be any better. That's why I think the Sixers won the deal. The fact Iguodala is playing this way and the team is winning some of these games means a lot.

True statement, but I know you aren't confident in Billy King to really work those picks. I mean the #1 or #2 are no brainers

Right, because there were so many quotes in that statement.

See, I have no problem with Billy King's drafting.. it's his constructing of the team through free agency and trades that I have trouble trusting.

That is exactly why I wanted to tank this season. I don't you can go wrong with having the 1 or 2 pick, any pick after that I think King will do something stupid(I hope I'm wrong). I'm glad Iggy's finally starting to blow...I just wish he would blow up and we lose. But hey you can't have your cake and eat it too!!!

Leave it to coates to bring out the positives in all this.. I was only focused on us losing the top pick. But I'm glad Iggy is finally breaking out and we have a true point guard.

Re: Why are we doused with such bad luck?
The team with the worst record only has a 25% of landing the top pick, the draft process is set this way to prevent teams from tanking.Als the team with the worst record has only actually gained the 1st overall pick once in the last decade+
Please stop with all this tanking to get oden BS...it shows how clueless you are

It doesnt show clueless anything. Regardless of records and what not the closer you are to a worst record the more ping pong balls you get, that has nothing to do with being clueless, thats just facts. Some members myself included feel more comfortable with more balls in the lottery.
