Since no one else commented, let me throw some things out there.

Andre Miller
Makes some of the nicest passes off the dribble I've seen. Especially when he's at the top of the key, he does a great job finding the man on a backdoor cut.

I love the way he goes for rebounds, he doesn't shy away from traffic and always goes to grab the ball at it's highest point. Pulled down five offensive boards which is outstanding for a PG.

Kyle Korver
Is it possible to be a sixth man of the year candidate on a lottery team? Korver is thriving off the bench, and while he has his fair share of three point attempts (most at least a foot beyond the arc) he has added a lot to his game. Good to see he has the confidence to put the ball on the ground and drive at times.

I was completely wrong, he was the one player I thought wouldn't be able to thrive with Iverson gone.. but he's done really well for himself.

Willie Green
During the game Steve Mix was commenting on how Green is more comfortable as a starter and that's his spot, but I don't exactly agree. He was great last night because he was scoring, but he's an inefficient player. If the team continues to improve it's obvious his natural spot is as a reserve.

His one-on-one game is a plus, it's just that he can be a blackhole.

Steven Hunter
One thing I can respect about Hunter is that he tries on the offensive end. He gets rewarded for his effort with plays called for him, but he has horrible footwork and coordination. I'm not sure how much Moses can help him with that.

Samuel Dalembert
His hands have improved, strong on the boards as always and stayed out of foul trouble in limited minutes. It wasn't much of a challenge last night because the Nets big men are so pathetic.

Joe Smith
A pleasant surprise from the trade, works extremely hard on the glass and defensively, and manages to get garbage points. If he comes extremely cheap I wouldn't mind having him next season.

Andre Iguodala
Did everything in the flow of the game, I always love to see players get theirs without stalling the offensive flow. His jumper has improved a lot out to 18 feet, but some reason when he goes beyond the three point line at the top of the key he's shooting it too long.

The way he scores makes me even more confident that he's a #2 guy, he could still get his without hurting someone else.

Louis Williams
In 13 minutes he didn't mess up, which is definitely a good thing. Struggled defensively, but being posted up by Jason Kidd is difficult for almost any young guard. Split time playing beside Willie Green, and later Andre Miller.

Maurice Cheeks
I've been very critical of him, but I have to say he deserves some credit for the team's play as of late. He has them playing inspired even on occassions where they're clearly outmatched.

A few Net tidbits..

All I could remember about Bostjan Nachbar was his hard foul on Karl Malone where he ripped Malone's jersey. What I'll remember Nachbar for from now on is his dunk on Samuel Dalembert. He hit the lane so hard and so fast that Dalembert didn't get a chance to respond. He was extremely aggressive, he was quick to put the ball on the ground and penetrate. It's too bad he's wasted on a team that has no direction.

Vince Carter had the "counting down my days in Jersey" look on his face, played uninspired netting 9 points on 20 shots. Like he often does when his jumper isn't falling, he keeps shooting jumpers and of course didn't find his way to the foul line once. Carter has gone from the day where he was a franchise type to now where I would struggle with giving him the MLE. Don't look now, Toronto won that trade and yes I know that the players they received aren't even playing for them anymore.

Is Jason Collins the worst big man in the NBA? Quick! Name on worse, cause I'm drawing a blank.

The Nets jumped up to a 24-7 lead to start the game, only for the Sixers to win 99-86. So they outscored them 92-62 to end the game.

It's bad for the draft pick, but I think it's good for the team in general. I think the players who will be here next year are learning a lot from this experience.

The Nets and the Sixers are done for the year, have the nets fans realized this yet HB? Also VC looks like hes on his last Jersey legs

Well the problem is, the Nets are pretty much stuck. If they are going to be 8th, might as well just tank the season cause Detroit will decimate them. Unfortunately its too late to think of tanking, cause other teams are ahead of the Nets in the lottery race. The teams playing for the 8th, Orlando and co. dont even act like they want it.

Regarding Vince, he was playing pretty inspired the last week, even the game in Boston. I don't know if it was fatigue or if he didnt have his head in the game, but he played very poorly at the Sixers. This has just been a terrible season for the Nets. On the other hand, you guys arent out of the playoff hunts. Should be frustrating that you keep winning and it keeps messing up your lotto chances.

i would love to see the sixers make the playoffs but i want to get a good draft pick
