The East is a sad sad place. Sixers are 2 games out, yet like a few games away from being a Top 5 pick.

Shows how incredibly weak the leastern conference is.

If I were you guys I would be pissed. You deserve a decent draft pick because you are not that good. I mean no disrespect by that either by the way. Portland has stunk it up for the last several seasons and earned their picks too. All I mean is that it would be a shame to have you guys slide into the playoffs with a losing record because your conference sucks only to get killed in the first round, while a team like Portland wins 46 or so games and misses the playoffs and ends up with a better draft pick.

If we start playing well towards the end of the season we could very well make the playoffs. This would be good for our young players (gaining experience), but it would be horrible for the future of the franchise (low first round pick).

The team is bad enough to be a lottery team, but the conference is so weak that we may not even be that.

While I love to see the Sixers win, I know that them making the playoffs this season does them far more harm than good. We really need a good lottery pick and some more good talent to build around to become a threat in the East again. PF is definitely number one priority on my list as long as we can get a SOLID guy.

I'm enjoying watching the team this season even if they are a loser, because they've got some good young talent deveoping and they are still fun to watch.
