Sixer Bucks Results 1/30/08

Final Score: Sizers 112 Bucks 69
In a battle of dismal teams, the Sixers had an edge from the beginning. With both Des Mason and Michael Redd out for this game, scoring was sure to be a tough endeavor for the Milwaukee squad. Stats pretty much told the story.

The sixers led by 9 points after 1 quarter of play, and by 19 at the half. In the third they kept up the intensity and ended the quarter up by 30, for a score of 77-47. Lets just say that in the fourth, it got even uglier for the Bucks. At one point the Sixers led by 47 points.
The sixers bench scoring tonight was outstanding, with 57 points compared to the Bucks 21.

Tonight we got a steady dose of youngsters Reggie Evans, Jason Smith, Thaddeus Young, and Lou Williams.
Reggie Evans really made his presence felt in this game. His non stop hustle ended up yielding 13 points and 9 rebounds on 17 minutes, but more importantly, it gave a real spark to the rest of the team. With play like that, he'll ceratinly be seeing good playing time.

Thad Young flashed some great moves in the post and was able to squirt in 14 points tonight.

Re: Sixer Bucks Results 1/30/08

Figures the ONE game I actually bet on the opposing team to cover (I thought the Sixers would win close) the Sixers get their Donkey Kong on and blow the Bucks out. I mean it's good, but damn...

I played a four team parlay..

I picked the Magic (-13.5) Vs Heat
Cavaliers (+3) Vs Blazers
Knicks (+12.5) Vs Jazz
Bucks (+7) Vs Sixers

And what's crazy is the game that blew my chance at winning it was the game I was most certain of (despite the injuries). Ah well, I didn't lose big money.. was just a small money wager.

That sucks...figures though, right ?

Thats why I bet boxing instead. Far less variables than team sports.
