Celtics @ Sixers (3/10/08)
I wanted to go but I'll wait for the weekend games. Looks like I didn't choose a bad game to miss because they are getting handled so far.
Celtics are up 15-0.
Celtics have hit three shots from beyond the perimeter, and are getting some open looks. With their offense they're forcing the Sixers to walk the ball up the court. Sixers are gonna have to create in the half court knock down shots from the perimeter and force the Celtics to respect them to create spacing to create room for penetration.
Score is 15-5 right now, Sixers are getting back into it.

They've really settled down after the Cheeks' timeout. Sixers have closed it to 17-11.
Celtics turnover after a KG offensive foul on Dalembert.

Jason Smith is getting some quality minutes tonight. He already has four points.
Oh, and Big Baby gets away with three in the key all day. I thought Dalembert stands in the paint forever.

Re: Celtics @ Sixers (3/10/08)
It's hard to play a team like Boston. With their defense you can't win through penetration you need to be able to hit shots on the outside. The Sixers have driven and kicked out but the guy who catches tries to penetrate as well. The Celtics do a great job of rotating so there's almost always someone there.
If you don't have the ability to hit the jumper consistently there's no reason to respect it. So the team really needs to work on that in the offseason.
The Celtics are on a 24-12 run after the Sixers tied it at 44 near the end of the first half.

Re: Celtics @ Sixers (3/10/08)
This game only showed us what we knew allready and we wont make a drama of it as Boston is Boston ,our weaknesses in the 3pt shots, our inside guys are mainly hustlers in defense and grab rebounds in offense but they arent the biggest guys in offense thats some of the weaknesses the game showed.
The 2nd half players got a liltle more selfish and the start of the game with that 15-0 is the same old story this season ,why they always go in the 1st posetions of balls to Dalembert? We know he not the best shoter on the team and involve him in the early game is a bad thing in my view ,he not that dominant center in the league so to me make sense play for him naturaly as the game goes and not throw him some balls in the early game.

Re: Celtics @ Sixers (3/10/08)
The Sixers need to establish their half court game. If they get into the playoffs, they won't be able to run alot. Hopefully this game will help them to make adjustments against teams that are strong defensively.
