Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Since the playoffs have begun let's see who steps up for us. Feel free to add whoever you like as a playoff hero against the Pistons in Round 1.

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Game 1 - Sixers win.

Willie Green. When the Sixers were playing like **** in the first half this man played his *** off and kept us in the game. He finished with 17 points on 7-11 shooting.

Reggie Evans. Made huge shots down the stretch for us including a turnaround falling back jumper with the shot clock winding down and a crucial put back. He had 11 points on 4-6 shooting and 14 rebounds. He also called Rasheed Wallace out when he came into the Sixers huddle near the end of the game.

Congrats on your win. Have been a fan of Mo Cheeks from his early playing days. A true class act. Retired a Net. Deserved so much better than the treatment he got in Portland.
Good luck in the rest of the playoffs.

Willie Green kills the Pistons, I guess it's the whole hometown thing.

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Reggie Evansto me like the beast today. Good defense. Even when not scoring and rebounding, he was setting the tone down low, denying position, etc. He also allowed 76er guards to roam a bit with his effective screens.

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Watching Reggie Evans play like that against us was very painful to watch. Good job Reggie.

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Don't overlook Jason Smith's performance. He was solid out there and helped the Sixers cut into the lead. Even though Maxiell is a difficult matchup he did a solid job. Smith actually boxed out on the boards which is more than I expected.

Mo Cheeks wasn't necessarily welcomed with open arms here by many 6er fans in this forum if I can recall, and was criticized a lot when we were losing. But we started winning games once AI was traded. Coincidence?
Andre Miller is a stud. Glad we didn't trade him.

Game 2 - Sixers Lose.
I didn't get to watch this game so I can't really say who played well. Anyone with perspective on this game?

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Thad started strong again (they should find him minutes at SF). The Reggie Evans magic wore out. Iguodala is still struggling to find his shot. Carney was very productive in garbage time minutes (look for him to see more minutes). I don't know if I'd say there were any heroes though in that last game.

Re: Sixers' Round 1 Heroes
Game 3 - Sixers win.

Reggie Evans has been the heart of the team this series. His stats were not impressive this game, but his impact on the game was immense. He had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Andre Miller completely out-played Chauncey Billups. He scored when he needed to, he distributed the ball, he was just a great player tonight. He had 21 points (9-14 FG), 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Along with Reggie Evans, Dalembert set the tone for the game. He dominated the board, played tough, strong defense, and shot the ball well. He finished with 22 point (8-14 FG), 16 rebounds (5 offensive), and 2 blocks.
