I like Korver and he needs more time, but only in particular situations

If he keeps playing like he has been the past two games, then Ayers might have to start playing him consistently. (So, no need for the particular situations) Remember though, i'm just saying that Ayers should do that if Korver keeps up his great play.
I agree with BEEZ on this subject. He should be put in when they need people to produce offensively. I don't think he is ready at the defensive level yet. Give him some time, and this kid might become a good player. Keith Van Horn esque?? Maybe??

Hes not as big as Van Horn or nearly as athletic(which is sad) but hes definitley more of a hard worker than he is so in his mold is possible

I'm sure that Korver is just as athletic as Van Horn is. Van Horn is not that athletic to begin with. I'm not to sure that Korver is going to be given the freedom to do things offensively like Van Horn is given in New York though. (If Korver did have that chance, who knows, he could be just as talented, if not more than Van Horn)I don't think that will ever happen though, unless Ayers really lightens up.

Korver was pretty slow at Creighton, especially on defense, and I imagine that is why at the beginning of the year he was playing like 5 minutes and committing like 5 fouls. He just can't keep up. But I know Kyle, and I guarentee he will work as hard as humanly possible to get as good as he can on defense. He is the hardest worker I have ever known.

Yeh, Korver is a 3-point bomber, and one of the best at that...and I honestly think thats all he's got offensively....he has no post game, no driving skills...but he'll make a nice living as a 3-point specialist because he shoots a high percentage

Well, he seemed pretty tall and lanky (kinda like KVH) when I last saw him in action on tv (which was quite sometime ago).

Korver is doing well. He is a situational player with a fine shot. With experience he may even become a Dell Curry, which is very nice for a player of his athleticism. He does appear to work hard at his defense, he is just not naturally pro quick or strong. Certainly the 76ers can use a situational player like Korver, given their weak outside shooting.
One aspect of importance for this type of player is the ability to get it going quickly. Experienced situational shooters are either on or off, and the coach expects them to shoot right away, then monitor if they earn time that night. Korver will have to learn this, as he will lose rotational time when the injured players return.
Those socks are hideous though. Geeky.

All I know is he is a tall white guy that looks like Ashton Kutcher and can play basketball.
