HOWARD&GIRICEK in PHI?

Phil Jasner of the Philadelphia Daily News:

Sixers president/general manager Billy King is looking at trade options to help improve his team.

"One source indicated King has been in conversations with the Orlando Magic in various permutations of a deal that could bring them Juwan Howard and Gordan Giricek, with Snow going south and perhaps a couple of other players from each side being included."

http://www1.realgm.com/src_wiretap.php#1076511379

Orlando trades:
SG Gordan Giricek
PF Juwan Howard

FOR

Philadelphia:
PG Eric Snow
C Samuel Dalembert
C Amal McCaskill

TRADE ACCEPTED
Trade ID number 1493334

TEAMS WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:

IVERSON
MCKIE/BUCKNER
ROBINSON/GIRICEK
HOWARD/THOMAS
JACKSON/COLEMAN

SNOW/STRICKLAND
MCGRADY/LOU
BOGANS/
GOODEN/DECLERQ
DALAMBERT/PACHULIA

I dont know, looks like emergency trade which in a way help both!

I dont like it at all with Dalemburt moving, and i definately dont want Howard around for five years.

No way we give up my main man Daly! I would fly back to Philly and shoot Billy King myself.

If this trade happened, it would be the writing on the wall, playoffs would be out of the question. I want the team to make trades, but I don't want trades for the sake of trades, where we get guys long term who are old. And I don't want to throw in Dalembert.

I mean honestly, imagine if the deal happened, our team would look like this (healthy bodies only):

C: Juwan Howard/Zendon Hamilton
PF: Kenny Thomas/Greg Buckner
SF: Glenn Robinson/John Salmons/Kyle Korver
SG: Aaron McKie/Gordon Giricek
PG: Allen Iverson/Willie Green

Now someone tell me, if they think that's a huge improvement over what we have now, because I don't, and this would be the same type of trades that got us into the mess we're currently in.

The walls are falling down, patchwork isn't good enough, I know we had a great win last night, but I can't differentiate between aberrition and reality right about now with this team when it comes to games. I just say, if we trade Snow we better get something somewhat decent, and with less years.

There is some way to include Coleman instead of Dalembert in this trade (and get another Orlando players)?

I've seen some Philadelphia games, and Samuel is a good center...

Lets see, I hate Howard and love how Dalembert and Snow (even though he's played poorly this year) play.... I deifinitely hope King doesn't pull this off.

The Snow for Giracek part has appeal, just to change things up and add some size in the backcourt. I would never trade
Dalembert for Howard.
