{Philly Daily News} Coleman unsure when he'll return...

http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews/sports/4186938.htm

Colemon is still in pain, can't run, or so I imagine do much...

He doesn't know when he will be back.

How does this effect your team?

welll

since Coleman is our 2nd best scoring option, in our starting lineup, it obviously does hurt oour offense. ANd any players injuries should. But what I am hoping, is that Larry Brown will use this early oppurtunity to give guys like Samuel Dalembert and Sam Clancy some time to develop and get some experience. We should definetely try to get something good out of this.

Remember now we have Van Horn to be that second scoring option. Clancy wont be cleared to test his knee out unitl Dec. so clancy is out of the question and I would love Dalembert to play more.

tru tru.

With the addition of Harpring, out offense should benefit. His play is very good when he is aggresive, but I think we will have a tough time defending team's frontcourts since ours is not a defensive bunch. If we played Samuel his shot blocking presence would help greatly.

Hotshot Ima mess with you for a while calling Harpring Van Horn-BEEZ

Coleman was on the floor at the 76ers practice yesterday. Not scimmaging or in the drills, just shooting and running. But that is not as far away, generally, from playing , as some injuries.

Clancy's injury is upsetting. A rookie needs all the practice he can get, and more. I thought he and Ely were the "sleepers" of the draft, with pro bodies and college experience and each has a mid range jumper that hits. That may not seem like much, but check out others. I keep envisioning he, as a reasonably mobile, powerful 6'7'' forward with Van Horn, a long 6'10" forward as 70/30 interchangeable on matchups on both ends of the floor depending upon opposition personnel.I think he will rot on IR this year, and I feel he is too good for that. He may have fallen in draft because of his injury, I am not sure. But I see a first round talent. I was hoping the 76ers would take him at #16, if Ely was taken earlier. He seemed a gift in round two. Perhaps if I see him against pro's, I'll reconsider. But he is my "gut" sleeper.

I missed on some, most notably Wes Unseld, as we all have. Some "gut" ones that panned out were Calvin Murphy and Mark Price, both second rounders. I knew they could star in the NBA.
