Big Win Vs Bucks!
Now, just about as badly as anyone else, I want the Sixers to get a lottery pick so they have a shot at a young player who can help turn this franchise around. Even though, that's the case, I'm not in favor of a team tanking games, especially if they can fight back and win. Watching a team work hard is fun, watching them tank for more ping pong balls is not, so with that I say..
Wow, what a game tonight was. I don't know how many others saw it, but this game looked like it was over, and then to see the team finally get some stops make a big run and convert.. wow, I can't really make a real post until I calm down. I know, I shouldn't be excited, yes I know this gives us 26 wins, but I like seeing the team play this way.
Greg Buckner and Zendon Hamilton played huge games, Buckner hadn't gotten the call in four games, and Zendon came close to having his second straight double double. Now I honestly wouldn't mind having these guys on the team if they didn't have to play much, but this energy they brought was great.
And am I the only one who struggles to find the reasoning behind the team's 4-1 record without Big Dog or AI? Nevertheless, good stuff by everyone.

Nope, but Greg Buckner scored 20 points in 25 minutes, Zendon was pretty much a go to guy near the end and he ended with 19 and 9. Kenny Thomas actually did a great job of initiating the offense, Salmons added 13 points. If this was a night where there were more games on in the NBA, I don't think I would've stuck around through the bad patch.. but I did, and I'm glad I did.

Wow, I pretty much thought this game was over after the first quarter, in favor of the Bucks. I should have watched more of the game. Great job 76'ers. It seems as though Buckner really stepped up tonight. That is what this team will need for the next 10 or so games if they want to make a serious run into the playoffs without Allen Iverson. The players have to be consistent, and it would help much more if a different player could step up each game (for the 76'ers) keeping the opposing team on there toes.

Good stuff from the Sixers. Props for being able to beat one of the top teams this season without AI and Big Dog, and not giving up after a rather disappointing start.

Nice win. but they did beat a tired team at the end of a road trip and without a decent point guard. NBA players are all good enough to do the Hamilton/Buckner thing on any given night.
Those players just can not deliver every night, so that is where a good lineup and proper bench coaching becomes critical. Good coaches recognize what night the 11th and 12th guy should stay on the floor. I give Ford credit.

I'm not saying that Hamilton can do what he's doing now every night, but the determination he's showing on the floor, is something fresh that seems to be energizing the whole team. He doesn't want to go back to the CBA, and I wouldn't mind having him as the 11th guy on the bench next year. The guy's all pride out there, and I know he's doing his cousin Rip proud.
And I won't really feed into the fact that the Bucks were tired, because the Sixers are missing four guys who were getting significant minutes, and the Bucks had a huge lead. Outside of TJ Ford being out, the Bucks were basically a healthy team who blew a humongous lead. I know it happens, and this game probably means nothing, but I don't know.. it just feels good.

I would rather see a close loss.

Yeah, I don't know if it's first or second cousins, but they are related. I mean look at their faces, the resemblance is there.
