Thumbs up Kenny Thomas Putting Up Some Numbers

I was looking at some stats on yahoo, and i clicked on his game log. Here are his numbers from the last five games.

17.6 points, 12.4 boards, 2 assists, and 1 steal.

Tonight he put up 22 and 13.

Hes been coming on strong the last two months.

Recently Kenny Thomas have been doing great, I hope he can keep this up for the rest of the season. He's quietly averaging a double double.

By the way does Kenny Thomas remind any of you people of Clarence Weatherspoon? An undersized good rebounding power forward the Sixers drafted in '92 who had a few good seasons with us.

Clearance Weatherspoon was a much better athlete than Kenny Thomas is, but Thomas is more tenacious than Weatherspoon ever was.

He's been playing nice and helped us pick up the win over the Bulls.

Too bad Antonio Davis owned him and like two other Sixers.

If he can keep this up, he'll prove alot of people wrong, and prove he is worth his pay day. For a smaller PF/slower SF, he seems to do nicely.

I don't know if he'll ever be worth his contract, but if he plays this way for the duration of it, it wouldn't be as bad as it was. The thing I like now is, he's operating a lot better when the ball goes through him, and when AI and Big Dog are in the ball doesn't go through him nearly enough. I'm not saying everytime down but at least one out of every five times to change up the flow.

Very nice numbers indeed.

Him and other players stepping up and the Sixers win despite not having AI and Big Dog.
