Wink Ratliff is Unreal.....sixer fans must agree

After blocking dalemburts(whatever his name is) dunk in the final minute and the other 5 all at big times in the game, all im thinking is ho the hell did the sixers let this guy go? He screwed you sixers tonight!!!

We traded an injured Ratliff for that season's Defensive Player of the Year Mutombo, it was a good idea at the time.

Philly gambled by trading a younger, injured potential player for the aging DPotY. The gamble actually paid off early on, but now...

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

I mean it was more of a HACk than anything but in the last few moments of any game a foul most likely will not be called

Ratliff was one of my favorite Sixers in recent history. Theo is soooooo tenacious. The look he gets when he's in the zone, wow, look out. The 2000 team was my favorite ever (born in 82). I loved the role players and i loved the starters (pre-mutombo trade). Rodney Buford, Raja Bell off the bench. Ugly but dependable Tyrone Hill, crazy d George Lynch starting. Kukoc for offensive flare every now and then? Man that was a cool team. It hasn't been the same since.
