This is a question I really think needs to be addressed. Where is that PG. Eric Snow wont last forever and the last time I checked he was the ONLY player on the sixers listed as a Point Guard. Someone please help
I am pretty sure no one can answer your question. Your first legitimate PG-of-the-future will come when AI era is ended, but that's few years away. You can't predict the future...
WE wont have a true point guard until Iverson leaves, Snow just fits in very well with our team , I dont know if he would fit in other places, Salmons is the closeest thing we have to a future point guard.

I understand that, that is why I am so confused they have all these parts but what if Snow goes down. We cant keep picking up injury replacements for the time being and honestly Salmons future is not at PG. The sixers make me so mad to be a fan sometimes
I'm also a little concerned about our backcourt. Last year, we probably had 1 too many guards on the roster and not enough forwards. Now we're a little thin at the point. But I think we'll see a lot of point by committed when Snow is not in the game with Mckie, Salmons, and even Iverson.
We're gambling a lot on Snow, Iverson, and Mckie all having relatively healthy seasons. That's my biggest worry about this year.
As for the future PG, we're probably jumping the gun a little bit. Snow probably still has 3 or 4 more productive years left in him, by which time Salmons will be a bit more seasoned to take over at the point.
For real, Snow isn't at the point where he can't contribute. Not yet. And Philly will still have 2-3 more drafts to where they can nab a guy to man the PG spot for years to come.

you gotta understand our draft picks and choices are limited for the next couple of years for trade obligations that we must fufill. Now ok Snow has 2-3 good years left in him, what about a potential replacement. What if he gets an injury he cant come back from. Where stuck and Salmons is not the answer at point guard.
