Stockton was the other guy i concidered when i picked Pippen. Went back and forth on them. I really don't think it was early for John. Great pickup imo.

Agree, if Frazier had been gone then I would have been looking at Stockton, Pippen and XXXXX as the three best remaining for my team. Oh, forgot to put Barry in earlier, there were 9 guys I was looking at not eight, Barry though was below Havlicek and Pippen considering I had Wilt (as a primary player/1st option I think Barry will carry a team further alone though can see a strong argument for Havlicek . . . Barry's champion team at GS is the weakest interior team to ever win and yet he did)

Not if Oscar Robertson is used as a PG. I'm not sure how he'll be used, but he could certainly be used as a PG.

ANOUNCEMENT:
Picks are from NBA years. ABA prime years will not be used.
Please remember that while making your decision.

oooh, never thought of that, was thinking people might want to use Euro years for some Euro guys or something but never thought ABA stats might be disincluded . . . you sure that makes sense Doc? They are at least as valid as 50's stats from NBA

i would have thought so too, there are a lot of players who were in the nba at some point but had their "prime" in the ABA, that is gonna drag a few players value down quite a bit... i understand no international seasons or anything like that but i think the ABA would be fine.

Isiah and Stockton were well overdue. Pippen was a little early IMO.

I can't remember if we did ABA years last time.
I don't think we did, it didn't change anything much.
Of course no europe or international years can be used.
