I don't think Mark Jackson is underrated. I never thought he was that good. He was an excellent passer, and he played forever so he racked up a ton of assists. But other than that he wasn't a very good offensive player and was bad defensively.
Tom Chambers pick is good value at this point. One of the best Suns players is always a good pick.

Well thats just for the time being, but i think with a team already starting 4 20+ppg guys, including julius and gilmore i need a solid pass first point guard to feed them the ball, stability if you will.
Arenas can score as well as anyone, he can come on at the 1 or 2 spot and provide instant offense, pairing with either back court player.
all subject to change of course lol.
oh and looking at the numbers id keep the strickland over jackson pick, forgot about jacksons mediocre scoring i thought he had a 20 point season or 2, but apparently not even close

Now I have to go to plan B.

I just see Ak and Camby as better role players in the starting rotation. I want my rotation to be a rolling one in a way that match up determines who starts and who doesnt. I probably reached on AK and Camby but I needed to pick because I was out of the country so I wasnt able to do my research.

you need a true power forward despirately, there are probably 2 i can think of who you could get coming up... maybe i dunno but thats obviously your position of need.
i might look into a trade to strengthen the front court, back court starters are fine

Not so much saying Camby and Kirilenko are bad as that Roundfield and Marques Johnson (especially Johnson) are that good . . . a great pick and one of the four guys on my board paired two and two.

Detlef.... I don't even know why you haven't scrapped the rest of the team and just build around him. He is the most dominant player in NBA Jam! Ok, he's the ONLY ONE who misses 3pters while on fire!

I think that from now on, FIVE teams get to pick at the same time. This is just taking too long!!!!

How good were they exactly? Being 17 years old, I have a major disadvantage in never seeing these players play before. I just did some very in depth research *cough* into great past players and hopefully my team works out for the best.

Roundfield was a complementary player, good defense, jump shoter, sort of a slightly slower Horace Grant type. Marques was the real thing, a prototype 3 (pre 3 pointer), good slasher, excellent midrange jumper, not a great defensive player but not a disaster; would be remembered more but (a) he played his best years in Milwaukee which was always just not quite good enough to get past Bird's Celtics and Erving's 76ers in the playoffs and (b) his career was short circuited by injury. I can see starting Camby and Kirilenko ahead of them for the shotblocking and because you have enough scoring from your center/guard positions, just that if I were starting a franchise and had a dominant center, I'd take the two later picks first.

As in, Roundfield and Marques should have gone where AK and Camby went rather than the other way around?

C - Dikembe Mutumbo
F - Larry Nance / Antonio Mcdyess
F - Grant Hill / Rashard Lewis
G - Michael Jordan
G - Chauncey Billups
Anyone think I should've taken a backup PG instead... Or that I should start Mcdyess instead of Nance?
