Re: Central Division Voting

The Pacers are the best team in this division. The combination of Magic and Russell is awesome. And then don't forget Dolph Schayes who made 12 All-NBA teams and 12 All-Star teams. Then they have the high-scoring threats in David Thompson and Chris Mullin. The starting five is excellent and they'll need to be, and they'll need to play a lot because the bench stinks. Tom Chambers is the only threat off the bench to take seriously. Then the likes of Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson, John Starks, and Michael Cage, yikes, that's not very good.

The Bulls are most likely the second best team. They have an excellent PG with Kevin Johnson. Dennis Johnson was solid offensively and then they have an excellent scorer with Havlicek, and an awesome threat inside with Walton. Camby isn't good offensively, but is a very good rebounder, and Camby, Dennis Johnson, Havlicek, and Walton are all great defensively. But I would start Roundfield instead of Camby, he was also an excellent defensive player and a much better scorer than Camby. But Roundfield and Marques Johnson are very nice players to have off the bench. Xavier McDaniel is okay, but the other two aren't too impressive.

The Bucks are solid. Olajuwon is a force, and Carter can score. But I wouldn't trust Carter in a big spot. Cheeks won't score much but is a very good distributor and very good defensively. Kirilenko is just there for defense, he won't scare you offensively. Gasol is solid, he can score, rebound and block some shots, but has never won a playoff game. The bench isn't very good. Lou Hudson is their best player and certainly a scoring threat. Cummings is pretty good and should arguably be starting instead of Gasol. But then Don Buse, though useful because he's excellent defensively, is horrible offensively. Lacey is decent, good rebounder, and a very good passing center. Battier is nothing special.

The Pistons have an excellent backcourt with Hall of Famers Isiah and Kobe. They also have a HOF center with Parish, though he wasn't much of an offensive force. Rice is an excellent shooter, and Willis a very good rebounder but both aren't HOF caliber. They don't have great scoring inside, but overall the starting five is very good. The bench however, isn't very good. Cassell is their best player, he's a good player, probably underrated. Finley is decent, he'll score a few points. But then Seikaly, Antonio Davis, and Iguodala are not too good.

The Braves have 3-guard starting lineup that will score. Oscar is one of the best players ever, he could do anything. But Reggie playing the 3 position is a concern. And then their inside starters are not good. Schrempf, and especially Dawkins are not players I would want to have starting in this league. They would be better off starting Mikkelsen instead of Schrempf. But they have no solid option to replace Dawkins, their backup is Tyson Chandler who doesn't belong in this league. Horry is great to have in clutch situations. And Odom and Elliott are decent players who might have to be used more often than wanted if Reggie playing SF becomes a major issue, which it might not, but it certainly can against certain teams. Although they have 3 guards in the lineup, they still should have at least one on the bench, but they have no guards on their bench.

I can't agree at all. This is just a one year thing, right? If so, look at the versatility from position 1-3. And look at the bench's stats in my sig.

Yeah it's a great bench for any NBA team playing today, but in a legends league I don't think it's that great. It's not the worst bench in the division though.

Anyone else have an opinion on my bench? Because I think it's a good combo of slashing, shooting, rebounding, and shotblocking.
