Re: Amare: Shape Up or Ship Out
hopefully this is the media just tryin to cause drama.....hopefully they are overexaggerating, and turning nothing into sumthing.......... which i do believe is the case becuz it says that amares head wasnt in practice tuesday and nobody is going to talk about something like that with the stupid media. if there was a real problem, i dont think it would get leaked out in this manner for some reason.
but just giving sum heads up.

Re: Amare: Shape Up or Ship Out
many teams wouldn't mind having Amare on their roster. Heck, send him to Chicago. Lets make a proposal.
Deng, PJ Brown, and Knick's 1st pick for Amare. So you will have:
Diaw
Marion
Deng
(whoever)
Nash.
Plus a deep bench of Barbosa et al.
Bulls will have
Wallace
Stoudamire
Nocioni
Gordon
Hinrich
What a sick lineup

If he's not playing as hard as he can, then you should.
Amare needs time, he's not going to capture the league in begining of November.
He's slowing going to comeback to where he was. So, playing him 18 minutes when you're still not sure if he's ready, is fine by me.
We have to remember, we're playing for the playoffs, not for the regular season.

yea, thats not wat im saying though. im talking about him riding the bench becuz problems with him and d'antoni. the article is not really concerning his health. its talking about cockiness and lack of effort. i guarantee if this really is a problem, he will be traded before he will ride the bench. the suns arent going to put up with a cancer that they are paying that much for to sit on the bench all year. all in all, i dont think we will hear much about this again, but rest assure if this article has any validity, and amare doesnt change, we will have major problems.

Ah ok. Surprising really. It always seemed like he's had a good attitude with it all, and always seemed like he was working hard. I don't know.

Re: Amare: Shape Up or Ship Out
I don't think there's any reason to worry. IMO, Amare's gonna come back at like 20-25 mins a game and work his way back into the rotation before the All-Star Break. I'm not worried about him getting traded, I'm worried how each of the guys that were huge last year will play with him in the lineup.
13 days till Suns-Lakers... I can't wait.

Maybe Amare is like me... he's pre-disposed to be skinny no matter what. I'm only 6% body fat, no matter how much I eat... it sucks.
