Re: Diaw vs Banks
Diaw's versatility, and how well he played the season Stoudemire was out will earn him more playing time, thus giving him more time to prove himself. Banks, on the otherhand, will play in a backcourt where he gets playing time behind Nash/Barbosa, and therefore, is unlikely to get much time to prove himself.
I don't see either player stepping up much, but I assume Diaw will play a bigger role in the teams wins--and losses--than Banks, because he'll have the opportunity to do so.
Of course, Banks I think may get more PT than last year, but I still don't see how he could have a huge impact given who he's playing behind. I do think Banks will play better than last year though, but he really did walk into the wrong situation. I assume he knew from the start he would get limited time to play, I guess he really wanted to learn from the Suns, or Nash.
