The Phoenix Suns will tip off the club’s 40th NBA season with an eight-game preseason schedule that includes three contests at US Airways Center.
The Suns will open the preseason on the road against the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 11. The club will host three preseason games in the Valley of the Sun on Oct. 13 vs. New Orleans, Oct. 15 vs. Utah and Oct. 25 vs. Denver. All three home games tip off at 7 p.m.
Phoenix will play three games in four nights in Los Angeles, beginning with a game against the L.A. Clippers on Oct. 18. The Suns will then participate in the L.A. Shootout against the Clippers, Lakers and Charlotte Bobcats. The winner of the Suns-Clippers game on Oct. 20 will play the winner of the Lakers-Bobcats on Oct. 21, which will be preceded by a game against the losers of the previous day’s games. The Suns wrap up the preseason against Seattle on Oct. 26 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
