Crybabies
You know who you are. No one likes the attitude you spew over this board, so shut the **** up.
Maybe if the Suns win 30 in a row y'all will be satisfied with the team, but that won't get us any closer to a championship.

Re: Crybabies
I agree. Especially with the last line. Winning 30 in a row isn't going to get the Suns closer. Winning 60 doesn't either.
I admit I have had some concern early, but like Zei Zao LS has said a bunch of times, everyone was wishing that they'd take it easier during the regular season and now that they are, people think it's the end of the world and wish they showed more. No winning either way. I don't know if the team is truly doing so, maybe subsconsiously. But you can't expect the same energy, night in and night out every game. I also do think the west is stronger than it's been in awhile. Even 4 through 8 are tougher. And the Suns are 28-12, first place in the WEST. That's where we want them to be right now.
The way the team is, is the way it's going to be. No turning back now, with the way it's been built. Not til at least late June when decisions will have to be made. Which means, don't believe any of those Marion/Amare rumors. Total BS. Kerr doesn't have it in him to do something midseason.

Re: Crybabies
I think Phoenix and Dallas are in the same dilemma, they are at the point where everything will be interpreted negatively. If they win 10 in a row it doesn't matter because they have done that already and burn out themselves in the regular season. If they don't play well and lose against some weak opponents everyone will write them off because they are worse than last year.
Sometimes I might also be too negative about the Mavs, there are stretches when they play like a championship team and a few minutes later they are back to lackluster play with seemingly little interest.
It's a looong season for both teams and we might have to wait a little bit until we see if they have what it takes to win it all. I hope we will see Phoenix vs. Dallas in the WCF this year.

Re: Crybabies
I don't know about you, but I'm not tired from what I did in November. I'm definitely not tired from what I did in January in May. The Suns haven't been burned out in any of the previous playoffs other than the 2005-06 campaign. That was due to playing 20 playoff games in 40 nights. They weren't burned out against the Spurs last year, they just lost.
The Suns this year haven't exerted their will on another team, the games look sloppy and unorganized.
You can be a fan and claim everything is coming up roses, but the fact of the matter is that the Suns are not on pace to win 60 nor are they even looking good when they win, save these past couple of games. You can pretend everything is rosy, I know what it is. The Suns interior defense is pretty terrible. However that can be semi excused since it has never been stellar, but the 3pt shooting! Bell and Barbosa have been questionable at best from behind the arc. What is their deal? There is a common trend in us losing games and those two missing their 3s.

Re: Crybabies
I'm not even worried but I still feel like we have to make one move before the deadline...
How many games did the Spurs lose to last year that didn't make the playoffs....
I rest my case...

It's not their record against crappy teams that I worry about. It's their failure to beat teams that are going to be in the playoffs like LA Lakers, NO Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, and Golden State.

Re: Crybabies
I want to see this team face a bunch of adversity, the reason we lose in the playoffs is because the regular season comes too easy for us. The adversity is needed and will make us better in the playoffs, also it will make the team more cohesive, but hey none of that will get through the worry warts

Re: Crybabies
I want to see them NOT take a night off. While this IS about winning championships, I also want to be entertained during the other months. I'm not entertained by a lackadaisical approach to playing the game. They haven't been doing the little things in games and are winning ugly. They don't have control of the games and that will come back and bite them when they play the good/great teams in the league. They exerted their will last year and were fantastic. This year, not much will.

Re: Crybabies
Clicking in the regular season and blowing teams out night after night will not make a team any more capable for the post season, adversity does that. We have a team that has a habit of getting comfortable with its own efforts, complacent with big wins and long streaks.. its the VERY LAST THING WE NEED.
In the playoffs you have to win ugly, you have to win when they take away your main weapons, and when guys are banged up or lacking for some reason. You just have to get it done by the time to buzzer goes, and we've been doing that in the regular season more than any other year I can remember. Its a good omen, you know, unless you want the spurs to beat us again.
