Majerle Added To Roster

The Phoenix Suns announced today that Suns legend Dan Majerle has signed on to the roster for the remainder of the 2007-08 season and playoffs. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 43-year old Majerle is a three-time NBA All-Star and averaged over 11 points and four rebounds in a his first 14-years in the league including eight years in Phoenix.

"I'm thrilled to have another chance to help this franchise on the court," Majerle said. "I will do anything Coach D'Antoni asks. Shooting threes, hustling after rebounds, or just fetching water. I'm just looking forward to getting back out there."

Suns General Manager Steve Kerr explained the ball club's decision saying, "Dan has had a legendary career here in Phoenix and we believe he can still be a big part of our success moving forward into the playoffs."
