Anyone see the very end of the Houston game?
In the last 35 seconds or so, Scott Williams hit two three pointers..
The 4th and 5th of his 15 year NBA career. Seemed to put the icing on the cake.. amazing second half from Matrix tonight.

Matrix and Marbury were brilliant, but the player who impressed me most was Jacobsen.
He has a big future.

Scott is the Suns new three point weapon. Marion played great in the fourth. Jahidi also played very good low post D.

Great finish by Phoenix, but lets talk about the frustrating play from Francis as of late. Houston is hanging in there, tough defense, down 4 or 5, shot clock running down and he hacks Marbury while he's shooting a three. Stupid. Then he argues. Stupid. Technical foul, thats a 4 point play and any momentum Houston had was totally thrown away. This is not the first or second time he has done that this season, venting his frustration from a poor shooting game on an official.
Francis has struggled to score and was just lit up by Marbury on the opposing end. Until he begins to hit his shots and play smart the Rockets won't win these games down the stretch. Or look for ways to get his teammates involved, by creating or slashing to the hole.
Marion has just been playing great with Amare out though.

Francis has had a very disappointing season thus far.. whenever I see him it seems the only shots he gets off are his little crossover then jumpshot, or he gets in the lane and instead of looking to actually finish with authority like he would in years past, he often jacks up a bad shot looking to get to the line.. His play (and his stat line) has been subpar this year, yet the Rockets are 15-11.. some of that is from being 8-1 against the east though..

EXACTLY... Even Moochie could do that if he actually had the confidence to shoot the ball... he hasn't hit rim in a long time. It wouldn't be so bad if the Rockets could come within 10 points of beating one of the West's big 5 (Lakers not included, they play them on XMAS). Francis will be gone if the Rockets do not make the playoffs this season, no matter WHAT the circumstances are. I just hope he doesn't become a Shareef...

I didn't realize Francis was on such a tightwire, but I guess right now he has to be the only one to blame with the way Yao and even Mobley have been playing this year.. Houston hasn't played well against the West so far, but hey.. at least you guys are 15-11 . We're already discussing which top 10 draft prospect we're going to pick up this offseason..
